Handover inspection
A handover inspection is an independent, checkpoint-by-checkpoint audit of a newly built home before the buyer takes possession. DProShield checks workmanship, finishes, systems, safety, and documentation, and delivers a photo-tagged snag list the builder can action — so owners take keys knowing exactly what they are accepting.
Ideally two to three weeks before your possession date. That gives the builder time to rectify snags we identify, and DProShield time to re-inspect before you sign off. Last-minute bookings are possible — we schedule urgent inspections within a week.
A 2–3 BHK apartment typically takes 3–5 hours on site. Villas and commercial units take longer. We stay as long as needed — inspections are priced per property, not per hour.
We run 150+ checkpoints across seven areas: workmanship quality, finishes and fixtures, systems and services (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water, smart-home), safety and compliance (earthing, RCCBs, fire safety), documentation review (warranties, as-built drawings, approvals), snagging and rectification, and handover readiness.
As a photo-tagged PDF, within 24 hours of the inspection. Each issue includes the location, severity, a photograph, and a clear action for the builder. You can forward the PDF as-is to your builder, family, or legal counsel.
Yes — one free re-inspection is included with every handover inspection. We verify each snag is actually fixed and then issue a handover-readiness certificate.
In almost every case, yes. Reputable builders welcome an independent checklist because it removes ambiguity and speeds up final sign-off. If a builder refuses, that itself is a signal worth noting.
